  Patent
    i) Name(s), Address(s), and Nationality of the applicant(s) and /or inventor(s)
    ii) Power of Attorney: signed by the applicant (notarization not required)
    iii) Specification, Claim(s), Drawings (if any), and Abstract
    iv) Other Documents: Assignment Certificate and Corporation Nationality
        Certificate (only if requested by KIPO)

    ¡Ø An Information Disclosure Statement is not required
PCT
    i) A copy of the PCT request form (PCT/RO/101) including the International  
       Filing Date, and information about the applicant and the inventor(s)
    ii) Korean Translation of the Specification, Claims, and Drawings

    ¡Ø In order for an PCT application to enter into the National Phase in Korea,
        the above documents must be submitted to KIPO within 31 months from the
        earliest priority date.
    ¡Ø A request for Examination should be filed within 5 years from the
        International Filing Date.
Utility Model
    ¡Ø The procedures for registering a utility model is same as that of patent except for some notification periods: the duration of Utility Model right is ten years shorter than that of Patent right.
Design
    i) Name(s), Address(s), and Nationality of the applicant(s) and/or inventor(s)
    ii) Power of Attorney: signed by the applicant (notarization not required)
    iii) Description of the article to which the design is embodied
    iv) Drawings: should contain a prospective view, a front view, a rear view,
        a right side view, a left side view, a top view, a bottom view and other view
        (e.g. a sectional view), if necessary or useful in describing the design
    v) Photographs, a model, or a sample of the design may be submitted in
       substitution for the drawings
    vi) Priority Documents and Korean translation thereof (if the right of priority is
       claimed)

    ¡Ø A maximum of two one-month extensions of the time limit for filing the power
        of attorney is available upon request with the payment of the late filing fee.
    ¡Ø Priority may be claimed within six months of the filing date of the earlier
        application, and the Priority documents and the Korean translation there of
        should be filed within three months from the date of filing in Korea.
    ¡Ø A request for Examination is not required
Trademark
    i) Name(s), Address(s), and Nationality of the applicant(s)
    ii) Power of Attorney: signed by the applicant (notarization not required)
    iii) 10 specimens of the trademark (7cm x 7cm or smaller in size)
    iv) A detailed list of designated goods/services on which the trademark is to
        be used in accordance with the Nice Classification of Goods or Services
        for the Purpose of Registration of Marks.
    v) Priority Documents and Korean translation thereof (if the right of priority is
        claimed)

    ¡Ø A maximum of two one-month extensions of the time limit for filing the power
        of attorney is available upon request with the payment of the late filing fee.
    ¡Ø Priority may be claimed within six months of the filing date of the earlier
        application, and the Priority documents and the Korean translation there of
